Delivery and returns
Order preparation
Your order is usually dispatched within 1 to 2 working days, except for chalcography and on-demand printing, for which specific deadlines are specified when placing your order.
Delivery times depend on the items ordered, the delivery method chosen and the destination.
Order processing times:
Orders placed before 12pm Monday to Friday are processed the same day or the following day.
Orders placed after 12pm on Fridays, weekends and public holidays are processed the following Monday.

Chronopost: 48 hours
Colissimo Tracked: 72 hours
Collection point: 3 - 4 days
Europe
Colissimo Tracked Europe: 3-8 working days
International (outside Europe)
Colissimo International: 5-9 working days
Collection point delivery:
With the exception of engravings and prints on-demand, products can be delivered to collection points in mainland France.
You can select the collection point of your choice during the ordering process. Your parcel will be available to collect there:
10 working days for deliveries to a Post Office or Pickup locker,
3 working days for Pickup locker deliveries.
To collect your order, you will need to present your ID or the collection code provided by the courier.
If the chosen collection point is closed or full, your parcel will be automatically redirected to the nearest available collection point.
Please note that if you do not collect your order within the specified time frame, it will be returned to us. A full refund can then be issued.
Engraving delivery:
These works are produced to order in our Art Workshops. The manufacturing time is 3 weeks, prior to dispatch via Colissimo.
Delivery of prints on-demand:
These prints are produced individually according to your choices (dimensions and medium).
Production: approx. 15 days
Shipping: DHL or FedEx, depending on destination.

Delivery costs
Delivery costs depends on several factors:
· the product(s) ordered,
· weight and dimensions,
· the chosen delivery method,
· and the destination country.
These fees are calculated automatically and displayed when you place your order.
Delivery to collection points is free of charge for any order over €80 incl. VAT (excluding books), in mainland France only.
This offer does not apply to prints on-demand and oversize items requiring an additional delivery charge.
For books only
In accordance with French law, free delivery is prohibited for online book sales. For example, during a free shipping promotion, if your order contains one or more books:
A fee of €1 applies if the total of books exceeds €35 incl. VAT,
A fee of €3 applies if the total is below €35 incl. VAT.
Combined orders and multiple delivery costs
In some cases, an order containing products with different logistical constraints may generate several separate delivery costs.
Tracking and receipt of the order
Customers are informed of dispatch of their order via an email containing a delivery tracking link.
Customers can also find their delivery tracking number in their personal area by clicking on "Order details".

The Customer agrees to receive the products ordered at the delivery address shown on the order confirmation email.
The Customer must date and sign the delivery slip presented by the courier. This dated and signed slip is proof of carriage and delivery.
If the Customer is not available, they have a period of time indicated by the courier to collect their parcel.
Orders delivered to a Collection point will be available at the Collection point of the Buyer's choice for a limited period of ten (10) working days. The order will be made available to them on presentation of an identity document and the collection code.
In the event that the Collection point has no spaces available or is closed, your order will be automatically redirected to the nearest available Collection point to your home address.
Please note: In the event of non-collection within the specified time frame, the products will be returned and refunded (excluding delivery costs, which will remain at the Customer's expense).
Returning a product
The Musée de l'Orangerie Book and Gift Shop strives to ensure your complete satisfaction with your purchases. However, if you wish to return or exchange a product, please follow the instructions below.
You may cancel your order without giving reason by notifying us of your withdrawal within 14 working days of receipt of the order.
Please note:
Exchanges and refunds under the statutory right to withdrawal cannot be issued in shops.
the customer is responsible for the costs of returning the product(s) concerned.
To exercise your right to withdrawal for all or part of the order, simply:
1. Notify us of your withdrawal within 14 working days from the date of receipt of the order
via the "return an item" option in the "Orders" tab of your customer account
via our withdrawal form, which can be found in the "Returns form" section in the footer of the website.
by email to eshop@boutique.musee-orangerie.com or by post (GrandPalaisRmn - Service Client Boutique du musée de l'Orangerie - 254/256 rue de Bercy - 75570 Paris cedex 12 - France) specifying the following: the order number, the date of receipt of the order, the product(s)/ item(s) you wish to return, your surname, first name and postal details, and your email address.
Once your request is confirmed, a return slip will be sent to you by email. It is essential to enclose it inside your parcel to ensure it is processed correctly by our logistics department.
2. You must return the product(s) concerned to us within 14 working days of the date on which you notified us of your withdrawal, together with the following documents:
the completed return slip (provided by Customer Services or available in your customer account)

Defective or incorrect items
In accordance with legal requirements, the products are covered by a guarantee of compliance and a legal guarantee against hidden defects resulting from a defect in materials, design or manufacturing affecting the product and rendering it unfit for use.
In order to exercise your rights, we invite you to:
Inform us in writing of the non-compliance or concealed defect affecting the delivered product as soon as possible after its discovery (contact address: eshop@boutique.musee-orangerie.fr).
You can then return the affected product to us by affixing the prepaid label (with address) provided to you by customer services to the package.
Refunds
Your refund will be made within 14 working days of our logistics department receiving your return.
