Papier Tigre

The musée de l'Orangerie has invited Papier Tigre, a contemporary stationery designer that breaks the mould, to design a line of creative, poetic and arty stationery.

About this collaboration

The works in the collection and the museum's architecture have provided the free inspiration for the Papier Tigre line. It combines forms with a modern aspect, reflecting the emotions and feelings experienced when looking at the works in colourful finesse.

From the colours to the light, from the shape to the object, the Papier Tigre line brings us a contemporary adaptation of the artworks and renewed vision of how they are hung, in a XXS format that can be carried anywhere.

The stylised motifs are inspired by three of the iconic works seen at the musée de l'Orangerie: Water Lilies by Claude Monet, Apples and Biscuits by Paul Cézanne, The Wedding Party by Douanier Rousseau, and details of the building.
