The Musée de l' Orangerie brings together in an exhibition a hundred masterpieces from the exceptional collection of modern art of the German dealer and gallery owner Heinz Berggruen (1914-2007). This special issue looks back at the life of this major player in the Parisian art market in the second half of the 20th century and the history of his collection, which is rich in works by Klee and Picasso, his two favourite masters, but also by Matisse, Giacometti, Braque and Cézanne, now held at the Berggruen Museum in Berlin.
